Biography
Stacey Dallyn's life in art has provided her with many opportunities for artistic expression.
As a young adult, Stacey pursued fashion photography while living and working in cities that are the epicenters of fashion. Fashion photography evolved into Stacey becoming a fashion editor for prominent magazines. Later Stacey combined her work as a fashion editor with fashion travel and fashion journalism with postings around the world. Stacey created an impressive body of work during her career in fashion.
As a mother of two boys, Stacey's work needed to evolve to balance the needs of her family and so Stacey began working in large canvas acrylic. Stacey continues that focus today, working in the beautiful environments of Bowen Island and Vancouver in British Columbia.
Stacey's acrylic works are inspired by her travels, the beauty that surrounds her, her life as a passionate, engaged participant in everything she pursues, and also by her reflective life, as a thoughtful observer, with a deeply felt empathy for people and the natural environment.
